Effects that happen at the press of a button in an app nowadays - used to be done the ‘proper’ long-winded way! Some of the techniques here took hours and even days to produce and were quite ground-breaking in their day! In time, these images will have explanations and titles added to them - with more images being added to the gallery in due course.

All images presented here are photographs of existing printed photographs - hence the unfortunate loss of quality in some.
